- Whilst remortgaging it is a good opportunity to consolidate any debts you may have into your mortgage. This may dramatically reduce your monthly outgoings.
- You should remember though that the overall amount you pay back may be greater, as the term for a mortgage is usually longer than the term of the debt being consolidated.

Think carefully before securing other debts against your home. Your home may be repossessed if you do not keep up
repayments on your mortgage.
For mortgages you can choose how we are paid: pay a fee, usually 0.5% of the loan amount, or we can accept commission
from the lender.
